Challenge

Taxdoo is a pioneer for automated accounting in e-commerce. The Hamburg-based fintech helps online retailers and companies to automate their sales tax and compliance processes in a legally secure manner. Especially in the European legal framework, the company is one of the market leaders with an ever-increasing focus on the use of artificial intelligence.

In a rapidly changing environment with ever new legal requirements, Taxdoo was looking for an alternative solution for taking on central legal functions at the beginning of 2025. The aim was to optimize contract templates, securely implement data protection requirements and restructure internal processes.

In addition, Paxa handles internal data protection matters and provides support for all external data protection inquiries and in case if suspected data breach incidents.
