That's why we set up Paxa as an external legal department: a flexible model that provides experienced legal support to scaling companies. All this without the fixed costs of a complete internal team at an early stage.

Today, we're pleased to announce that Julian Jantze has joined Paxa as a partner — a move that opens an exciting new chapter for us and our clients.

A shared vision backed by experience

Julian has many years of experience on both sides of the legal spectrum: as an M&A and corporate law lawyer in a leading commercial law firm and at a DAX-listed company, later as general counsel at Zenjob, a fast-growing HR tech scale-up.

His perspective is shaped by practice: how to set up legal structures that grow with the company, how to ensure compliance while enabling innovation, and how to support founders and management teams with reliable, strategic advice.

This fits perfectly with the foundation that we have created at Paxa. Right from the start, we work with companies in decisive growth phases and offer strategic legal advice on a flexible basis, often just one or two days a week.

Whether reviewing contracts, managing regulatory risks, advising on expansion issues or designing employee participation plans. Our goal is to integrate ourselves deeply into the business and to relieve internal teams quickly and effectively.

Today, our clients are some of the most ambitious companies in Germany and beyond. Everyone has individual requirements, but a common denominator is the desire for fast, scalable legal support with real business insight.

Here are a few examples:

• Tactile, a platform for decision automation based in Berlin and New York, worked with us as a fractional legal partner during the Series A phase. We laid the legal foundations for US business, international contract structures and strategic decisions on product and compliance. Today, Taktile has successfully completed its Series B and continues to benefit from a lean, scalable legal infrastructure.
• Kombo, one of the fastest-growing startups in the area of API integrations, brought us on board to speed up contract processes. The founding team knew how important legal clarity was for scaling — and with Paxa, they were able to access the necessary legal advice right from the start without immediately setting up an internal team.
• MILES hired Paxa to support the legal department during a critical period of growth. We took on targeted, independent tasks in the area of compliance and operational legal processes, relieved the internal team and helped drive important initiatives forward.
