At the start of the collaboration, Tactile was in the Series A phase and faced a typical challenge for many growing SaaS companies:
- It was necessary to deal with a wide range of legal topics: customer contracts, HR processes, corporate governance, everyday legal issues,
- However, the need for advice was very irregular and difficult to predict, because sometimes support was only needed a few days or hours a week, and
- A full-time in-house lawyer was neither economically justified nor necessary in this phase.
Former external law firms had created good structures, but they reached their limits:
- They were not always available ad hoc, as they mostly work on a project-based basis
- they were too expensive for many everyday tasks, and
- In some cases, there was a lack of practical experience with fast-growing tech startups.
Tactile was looking for someone who would provide them with targeted support in order to:
- to strategically align the company for the next phase of growth,
- prepare for major milestones such as Series B and expansion to the USA, and
- to establish internal processes that are scalable.

- deep business insights and close coordination with management team and operational departments, and
- Focus on scalability and long-term decision making, e.g. through:
- clean sales bases,
- efficient contract processes, and
- strategic corporate governance structures.
Die Ergebnisse
The results speak for themselves:
- Taktile has now grown to over 180 employees, including more than 50 in the USA. The company has successfully completed its Series B financing round and established scalable sales structures,
- thanks to the legal framework created by Paxa, the sales team can act quickly and close deals efficiently, and
- Paxa is still on board, but now often only provides a few hours of support per week, because we know the business in detail and act with foresight.
The result: Tactile is fully legally protected, efficient, flexible and without the costs of a permanent full-time lawyer.
